Torchwood get’s green lit for a new series…kind of.
Not sure if any of you guys have been following the news, but Torchwood is coming back next year as a “reboot”. New writers, new plot and a new title, “Torchwood: The New World”.
However scared and worried you may be, the writing staff is crazy:
John Shiban (“Breaking Bad,” “Supernatural,” “The X-Files”)
Doris Egan (“House,” “Tru Calling,” “Dark Angel’)
Jane Espenson (“Game of Thrones,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Buffy”)
John Fay (a U.K. “Torchwood” writer)
It’s really looking like an “Americanized” version of the great show…which I think has more than just myself a bit worried. With a writing staff like that, however, it can’t POSSIBLY be bad…can it?
Today, you may have Eureka, LOST and Fringe, but don’t forget what paved the way for these shows. DON’T FORGET WHAT CAME FIRST PEOPLE!
